Nurse Practitioner Led Services

Advanced Clinical Care, Delivered by
Experienced Nurse Practitioners
Our Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are highly qualified clinicians who assess, diagnose, prescribe, and manage a range of health conditions. Working in close collaboration with our GPs, they provide accessible, personalised care for patients with ongoing or acute needs.
At Reynella Family Care, our NPs focus on improving access to care while supporting better health outcomes through education, preventative care, and long-term condition management.

What Makes NP Services Different?

Nurse Practitioners hold advanced qualifications and are authorised to independently assess, prescribe, and manage patient care. They provide the perfect balance between medical accessibility and personalised support, especially for patients managing long-term or sensitive conditions.
NPs work in collaboration with GPs and other healthcare providers to support patients across a range of health needs. However, please note Nurse Practitioners do not provide the following services:
  • Chronic Condition Management Plans (GPCCMP)
  • Mental Health Care Plans
  • Driver’s Licence Assessments
  • Centrelink or government forms
  • WorkCover assessments
  • Travel medicine consultations
For these services, please book an appointment with your usual GP.
